The Full Story
Seabreaker Boats was born out of a love for the water and a desire to build tough, practical boats that do exactly what they’re meant to do. After years of working in aluminium fabrication and marine construction with Mezcal Fabrication, Luke saw a gap in the market between over-engineered custom builds and mass-produced hulls that didn’t quite meet real-world needs.
Seabreaker exists to bridge that gap — offering proven, well-designed boats that are reliable, capable, and built to handle the demands of life on the water. From commercial work to offshore adventures, every Seabreaker is designed to perform, day in and day out.
Our Founder
Luke grew up in Lake Macquarie and has been a core part of several successful businesses in the Newcastle region. Today, he devotes all of his time to Mezcal Fabrication, a family-run boat-building business located in Cardiff, NSW.
After years of working with aluminium and building a wide range of products, Luke wanted to try something new. He had never built a boat before, but the idea of creating a family boat that he and his loved ones could use sparked his interest. Once he started, it quickly became clear there was a demand for well-built aluminium plate boats.
Luke didn’t want to follow the path of building generic stock boats like many others — he wanted to create a brand that people could trust. That’s how Seabreaker Boats was born: made-to-order, high-quality aluminium plate boats designed to perform, last, and stand out on the water.
The range is expanding slowly but surely, with each new model reflecting Luke’s hands-on experience, attention to detail, and passion for marine craftsmanship. The team at Seabreaker is excited for the journey ahead and can’t wait to see where this brand takes them — one boat at a time.
